We recently had this Peugeot Partner 1.6 BlueHDi in for our speed limiter removal service. A great example of what a noticeable difference we can make with our tuning services here at Bluespark.
The customer came to see us, after being plagued with speed limiter restrictions. As can be the case with many former fleet vehicles, you’ll find that they are restricted to 60mph or even 50mph. Whilst this is sufficient for local driving, it can make long distance motorway journeys unbearable, costing you time and money. We connected to the ECU, made some quick adjustments, and now has full access to its capabilities.
Whilst we had access to the ECU to carry out the speed limiter removal service, we also applied a stage 1 tune, giving the customer a much improved driving experience.

In our latest dyno test we have this 2024 F44 BMW M235i xDrive Gran Coupe in for tuning and testing. After quick installation of our 3 Channel Pro Petrol chip tuning box, it was up on the rollers to see what the engine could achieve.
As this car shares the same underpinnings with the likes of the M135ix or the MINI JCW variants that we have already seen a lot of on this channel, we know this variant of the B48 is very capable. Our linked, braked 4wd dyno suited perfectly here for BMWs All-wheel drive xDrive system.
It’s also worth mentioning that these vehicles currently have a locked ECU with no way to read or write the ECU data. This means that while traditional remapping is impossible, our tuning box can give owners the opportunity to make fantastic gains without requiring a traditional ECU flash. This has the added benefit of being traceless once removed for warranty purposes.

In this latest tune and dyno test, we take this 2014 Mitsubishi ASX 2.2 DI-D 4 and custom tune it, adjusting the software and fine tuning the results from the rolling road dyno testing. The result… Some pretty impressive performance gains!!
Firstly, we take the ASX completely stock. We get it strapped up on to the rollers, and take it for the first set of tests to establish what the factory mapping is producing. You can see the stock dyno graph below. You can see that power and torque are both running slightly lower than manufacturer quote, showing 134hp from a 150hp quote, and 352Nm from a 380Nm quote. Not particularly unusual, as these can often run lower than what they claim.
Once we are happy that we have everything logged and the stock figures are dialled in, it’s time to connect to the ECU. We use our Autotuner system to connect directly on to the ECU. The process of this custom tune is very much a hands-on, ‘fine tweaking’ procedure. We make several alterations to the software, adjusting

In this latest hot-hatch tune and dyno test, we have this Abarth 595 140hp in for a full custom ECU remap with dyno testing. This customer opted for our linear and max tunes, applied to the sport and non-sport modes. Essentially, this will allow the customer to take full advantage of that sport mode, giving everyday drivability when sport mode is disengaged (at lower revs), and then maximum gains across the full rev range once it’s enabled. Let’s see how this shapes up…

Once we are happy that we have everything logged and the stock figures are dialled in, it’s time to connect to the ECU. We use our Autotuner system to connect directly on to the ECU. The process of this custom tune is very much a hands-on, ‘fine tweaking’ procedure.
