Tuning solutions for your ECU locked BMW
We recently had this awesome 2022 BMW G22 430d in for an installation of our Pro + Boost SENT tuning module. As we have mentioned previously, the 430d shares the same underpinnings as the more powerful M440d, making this variant of the 3.0 B57 very capable, holding substantial potential.
This G22 is also another example of a 2021+ BMW facing the tuning limitations due to the locked ECU, and currently has no way to read or write the ECU data. This means that while traditional remapping is impossible, our tuning module offers the perfect solution here, providing fantastic gains without requiring a traditional ECU flash. This has the added benefit of being traceless once removed for warranty purposes.

We recently had this brand new 2025 Audi RS3 in for tuning and dyno testing. We’ve already conducted extensive development on these, so already know what the 2.5 TFSI is capable of. After a quick installation of our 3 channel module, it was up on the rollers to see what gains had been made.
This 8Y RS3 is also another example of the later VAG vehicles, which face the tuning limitations due to the locked ECU, and currently has no way to read or write the ECU data. This means that while traditional remapping is impossible, our tuning module offers the perfect solution here, providing fantastic gains without requiring a traditional ECU flash. This has the added benefit of being traceless once removed for warranty purposes.

In our latest dyno test we had this awesome 2024 G20 BMW M340d MHEV in for tuning and testing. We’ve already conducted extensive development on these, so already know what the 3.0 B57 is capable of. After quick installation of our specifically designed Pro + Boost SENT chip tuning box, it was up on the rollers to see what the engine could achieve.
This G20 is also another example of a 2021+ BMW facing the tuning limitations due to the locked ECU, and currently has no way to read or write the ECU data. This means that while traditional remapping is impossible, our tuning box can give owners the opportunity to make fantastic gains without requiring a traditional ECU flash. This has the added benefit of being traceless once removed for warranty purposes.
Dyno testing before and after shows healthy gains across the rev range, with a significant increase in power and torque, really transforming how the M340d feels to drive.

We recently had this 2019 Vauxhall Combo in for our speed limiter removal service. A great example of what a noticeable difference we can make with our tuning services here at Bluespark.
The customer came to see us, after being plagued with speed limiter restrictions. As can be the case with many former fleet vehicles, you’ll find that they are restricted to 60mph or even 50mph. Whilst this is sufficient for local driving, it can make long distance motorway journeys unbearable, costing you time and money.
We remove the ECU, allowing us to bench tune it, and then connect it up to Autotuner to read out the file. We make some adjustments to the file, removing the speed limiter and increasing performance, and then flash it back to the ECU. We can then test the van to check the performance and ensure the limiter has been removed successfully.

In our latest dyno test we have this 2021 G20 BMW 320i in for tuning and testing. We’ve already conducted extensive development on these, so already know what the 2.0 B48 is capable of. The 320i is detuned from the factory, but with a sensible safe tune, we can get similar figures to that of a stock 330i. After quick installation of our 3 Channel Pro Petrol chip tuning box, it was up on the rollers to see what the engine could achieve.
