Early Mitsubishi cars were not very successful for the company. The first production model, in 1917 only had 22 units built. It wasn't until the 1970s, coinciding with a 15% stake from Chrysler that mass car production took off for the Japanese company. Chrysler sold several Mitsubishi cars under their own badge through the United States and Australia. In the 1990's Mitsubishi took a risk on the SUV market, when Japan's other car manufacturers dismissed the idea. A range of four-wheel drive vehicles rode the wave of SUV buying in Japan. Mitsubishi L200 (Triton) Tuning Box
Originally launched in 1978, The L200 is a compact pickup truck. Mitsubishi launched a fourth generation of the L200 in 2005 with a common rail diesel. There are a range of body styles for the L200, including an entry level single cab up to a double cab with a selection of hoods available. The top range Warrior and Barbarian come with a 4 cylinder 16 valve DOHC diesel engine, giving 158BHP and 343Nm Torque. Adding our Bluespark Pro + Boost tuning box increases output to 197BHP / 400Nm Torque.
Mitsubishi Shogun / Mitsubishi Pajero Tuning Box
Common rail diesel engines were not introduced to the Shogun range until the fourth generation release in 2006. The Mitsubishi Shogun is an SUV that, when first launched struggled to appeal to the general public. It was only available in a 3 door short wheelbase. In later releases Mitsubishi addressed this issue releasing more variants. Today there are 12 body type variants. We can offer chip tuning solutions on 4 engines. The top spec in the 3.2 litre 197BHP / 441Nm. Our Bluespark Pro + Boost tuning box can increase output to 243BHP / 515Nm.
Mitsubishi ASX Chip Tuning Box
The Mitsubishi ASX or RVR as it was originally called in the Japanese market, is a compact SUV crossover vehicle. First on the market in 1991, it was discontinued in 2002. Mitsubishi decided to re-launch the Mitsubishi ASX in 2010 with a whole new look, moving in line with the modern style of crossover SUVs. Today there is one petrol and two common rail diesel engines to choose from. We can offer diesel tuning options for 5 engine variants with our Bluespark tuning boxes. The top spec is the 2.2 DI-D in-line 4 cylinder 16 valve DOHC common rail engine. Standard output is 145BHP / 360Nm, with the tuning box added the output is increased to 176BHP / 404Nm.
Mitsubishi Outlander
Launched in 2001 the Mitsubishi Outlander is a compact crossover SUV. Now into the third generation, the Mitsubishi Outlander is only sold with 2.2 litre common rail diesel engine. The top spec available is 2.2 litre 148 BHP / 380Nm with the chip tuning technology through our Bluespark Pro + Boost this could be increased to 184 BHP / 445Nm.
