In our latest dyno test we had this awesome 2023 G21 BMW M340d Touring in for tuning and testing. After quick installation of our specifically designed Pro + Boost SENT chip tuning box, it was up on the rollers to see what the engine could achieve.
These vehicles currently have a locked ECU with no way to read or write the ECU data. This means that while traditional remapping is impossible, our tuning box can give owners the opportunity to make fantastic gains without requiring a traditional ECU flash. This has the added benefit of being traceless once removed for warranty purposes.
Dyno testing before and after shows healthy gains across the rev range, with a significant increase in power and torque, really transforming how the M340d feels to drive.
Peak power was significantly increased, as we were able to lift it from 331hp at stock, up to 405hp with the box. If you take a look at the dyno graph below you can see how we change that curve (dotted red and blue lines). We give real consistency

Tuning solutions for your Touareg
We recently had this awesome Touareg 3.0 V6 TDI visit us here at Bluespark HQ for a quick and simple install. In less than 20 minutes it was back out to enjoy those instant gains, coming from our Pro + Boost SENT box.
POWER 286hp >>> 346hp
TORQUE 600Nm >>> 690NmNot only do we lift those peak figures, but we really delve into where those gains are applied. Now with that added power and extra torque, it will pull much harder through the mid-range, and give much more consistency across the entirety of the rev range, really transforming how it now feels out on the road.

In our latest dyno test we showcase our development work on our next generation chip tuning modules, for the 1.2 PureTech engine. Here we test both the Citroen C3 1.2 PureTech 110hp and the Citroen C4 1.2 PureTech 130hp.
Now we already get fantastic results from these variants with our existing boxes, but we have been developing our next generation modules to get even further enhancements. We achieve this by connecting at additional points within the engine, including the rail pressure sensor, the camshaft sensor, the manifold sensor and the boost pressure sensor. This ensures that we get the best results possible from this engine, across the entire rev range.
Dyno testing before and after shows healthy gains across the rev range, with a significant increase in power and torque, really transforming how they both feel out on the road.
First taking a look at the 110hp variant. Peak power was significantly increased, as we were able to lift it from 109hp at stock, up to 142hp with the box.

In our latest dyno test we have this 2020 G20 BMW 330e in for tuning and testing. After an installation of our 3 Channel Pro Petrol chip tuning box, it was up on the rollers to see what the engine could achieve.
We have featured many of our hybrid tuning solutions on this channel and this G20 330e doesn’t stray far from what we’ve already showcased. The 111bhp electric motor is paired with very capable B48 engine, which we have already seen a lot of in previous tests, so we already know the tuning potential from this set up. However, as we find most often, the engine comes de-tuned as standard from stock, not giving you that full potential of its power. We can soon have that fixed, and show you what it’s really capable of…
Another thing to note, is that these vehicles currently have locked ECU’s with no way to read or write the ECU data. This means that while traditional remapping is impossible, our tuning box can give owners the opportunity to make fantastic gains without requiring a traditional

In our latest dyno test we have this 2021 G20 BMW M340i in for tuning and testing. After an installation of our 3 Channel Pro Petrol chip tuning box, it was up on the rollers to see what the engine could achieve.
Now we know the B58 is a very capable engine, we have already seen a lot of this on our channel, so we already know the tuning potential from this M340i. Our linked, braked 4wd dyno also suited perfectly here for BMW’s All-wheel drive xDrive system.
Another thing to note, is that these vehicles currently have locked ECU’s with no way to read or write the ECU data. This means that while traditional remapping is impossible, our tuning box can give owners the opportunity to make fantastic gains without requiring a traditional ECU flash. This has the added benefit of being traceless once removed for warranty purposes.
Dyno testing before and after shows healthy gains across the rev range, with a significant increase in power and torque, really transforming how the M340i feels to drive.

More awesome gains from the ever increasingly popular Ford Ranger Wildtrak.
This 2023 2.0 EcoBlue popped in for a quick install of our Pro + Boost box, and it was soon back out again with all that unlocked potential, adding +49hp and +149Nm at its peak!
POWER 213hp>>>262hp
TORQUE 500Nm>>>646NmIt’s also another example of a locked ECU with no way to read or write the ECU data. This means that while traditional remapping is impossible, our tuning box can give owners the opportunity to make fantastic gains without requiring a traditional ECU flash. This has the added benefit of being traceless once removed for warranty purposes.

In this latest tune and dyno test, we take this 2014 Ford Focus 1.6 TDCI and custom tune it, adjusting the software and fine tuning the results from the rolling road dyno testing. The result… Some pretty impressive performance gains!!
Firstly, we take the Focus completely stock. We get it strapped up on to the rollers, and take it for the first set of tests to establish what the factory mapping is producing. You can see the stock dyno graph below. You can see that power is running slightly lower than manufacturer quoted, showing 106hp compared to 115hp, but nothing too concerning as these can sometimes run slightly less than expected. Torque being the opposite and showing 281Nm from a 270Nm quote, but again nothing too concerning from this.
Once we are happy that we have everything logged and the stock figures are dialled in, it’s time to connect to the ECU. We use our Autotuner system to connect directly on to the ECU. The process of this custom tune is very much a hands-on, ‘fine tweaking’

In this latest tune and dyno test, we have this awesome 2020 Roller Team Auto-Roller 746 up on the dyno. Here we run a comparison of tuning solutions. First testing with our Pro + Boost chip tuning box, and then once removed and back stock we custom remap the ECU, adjusting the software and fine tuning the data.
Now as you may know, we offer a wide variety of tuning solutions here at Bluespark, the two most popular being our chip tuning boxes and our custom remaps. Both of these options have their advantages, and both can provide excellent results. This motorhome is built from the underpinning of the Fiat Ducato 2.3 Multijet II, which we have already seen a lot of on this channel, so we already know the capabilities of this engine. Lets see how the two options shape up…
Firstly, we take it completely stock. We get it strapped up on to the rollers, and take it for the first set of tests to establish what the factory mapping is producing. No big surprises with this one, a pretty standard

Here we have some lost footage, salvaged after we had upgraded our rolling road set up to our new 4wd dyno. This dyno test was completed on our previous 2wd dyno, just before we had it swapped out, but we thought to share it as the results are quite important…
We tested this 2019 Honda Civic 1.5 VTEC whilst it was running full 99RON fuel, and were able to adjust our Pro Petrol box accordingly to get some pretty impressive results. The gains that were made, were significantly greater than previous testing on this engine, proving that octane rating can really make the difference.
Dyno testing before and after shows healthy gains across the rev range, with a significant increase in power and torque, really transforming how the Civic feels to drive.
Peak power was increased, as we were able to lift it from 198hp at stock, up to 240hp with the box. Stock figures running higher than manufacturer quoted of 182hp, but that’s the real testament to the difference you’ll see running 99RON fuel. If

Golf gains to start the week off strong.
This VW Golf 1.6 TDI dropped in to have a super quick install of our Pro + Boost box. It was soon off again, enjoying those benefits of that added performance.
POWER 105 >>> 135hp
TORQUE 250Nm >>> 297NmNot only do we lift those peak figures, but we really delve into where those gains are applied. Bringing them in as soon as possible, while giving real consistency throughout the rev range we really transform how it now feels out on the road.
