In this latest tune and dyno test, we take this 2017 VW Scirocco 1.4 and custom tune it, adjusting the software and fine tuning the results from the rolling road dyno testing. The result… Some pretty impressive performance gains!!
Firstly, we take the Scirocco completely stock. We get it strapped up on to the rollers, and take it for the first set of tests to establish what the factory mapping is producing. No big surprises with this one, a pretty standard stock dyno graph can be seen below, with power results showing at 124hp. Torque also running bang on the mark at 200Nm.
Once we are happy that we have everything logged and the stock figures are dialled in, it’s time to connect to the ECU. We use our Autotuner system to connect directly on to the ECU. The process of this custom tune is very much a hands-on, ‘fine tweaking’ procedure. We make several alterations to the software, adjusting the exact parameters we need and configuring the software files to give us that increased power and

In our latest dyno test we have this awesome 2020 Porsche Cayenne 3.0 V6 E-Hybrid in for tuning and testing. After an installation of our specifically designed Pro Petrol SENT chip tuning box, it was up on the rollers to see what the engine could achieve.
Now, as is the case with most of these premium hybrids, they already have a pretty cool set up from stock. This Cayenne has the standard 340hp 3.0 V6 found in most of the base spec Cayenne’s, but is also coupled with an 136hp electric motor. You can’t quite utilise the full capacity of both engine and motor systems at once due to its application, but you so you still get a respectable 462hp in total. However, as we find most often, the 340hp engine comes de-tuned as standard from stock, not giving you that full potential of its power. We can soon have that fixed, and show you what it’s really capable of…

This 2023 2.0 EcoBlue popped in for a quick install of our Pro + Boost box, and it was soon back out again with all that unlocked potential, adding +49hp and +149Nm at its peak!

In this latest tune and dyno test, we take this 2018 Mercedes GLA180 1.6 and custom tune it, adjusting the software and fine tuning the results with the rolling road dyno testing. The result… Some pretty impressive performance gains!!
Firstly, we take the GLA completely stock. We get it strapped up on to the rollers, and take it for the first set of tests to establish what the factory mapping is producing. The stock dyno graph can be seen below, with power results showing 138hp. Now, this is higher than the 122hp manufacturer quoted, but with these ‘de-tuned’ Mercedes engines it is very common to see higher figures than what they originally quote. The same can be said with torque, as this is also higher, coming in at 244Nm from a 200Nm quoted figure.
Once we are happy that we have everything logged and the stock figures are dialled in, it’s time to connect to the ECU. We use our Autotuner system to connect directly on to the ECU. The process of this custom tune is very much a hands-on,

Another wet start to the week here at Bluespark, but that doesn’t mean the gains have to stop. This awesome, brand-new 2024 MINI Cooper Convertible dropped in, to get our 3 Channel Pro Petrol installed.
Having worked with many variants of the B38 engine, we already know the awesome tuning capabilities that can be unlocked. So it was a quick install of the box and it was back out enjoying that added performance.

These awesome hot-hatches are always great fun to work with, and with over 200bhp from stock you know the end result will be impressive.

We were recently visited by this awesome VW Amarok 3.0 V6. The customer had already purchased a competitor’s tuning box, however they had a feeling it wasn’t delivering their quoted gains. Connecting only at the fuel rail, with no boost connection at all, we also saw its limitations.
We soon had it strapped up on the rollers to put it to the test.
It’s also worth mentioning here, that these vehicles currently have a locked ECU with no way to read or write the ECU data. This means that while traditional remapping is impossible, our tuning box can give owners the opportunity to make fantastic gains without requiring a traditional ECU flash. This has the added benefit of being traceless once removed for warranty purposes.
We first ran the stock test, showing the results on the graph below. Nothing too much to note, a pretty standard stock run can be seen. Power coming in roughly spot on the mark at 237hp, whilst torque running slightly higher at 625Nm, from a 600Nm manufacturer quoted figure,

In our latest dyno test we have this brand-new 2024 G05 BMW X5 xDrive50e in for tuning and testing. After an installation of our specifically designed Pro Petrol SENT chip tuning box, it was up on the rollers to see what the engine could achieve.
The 194bhp electric motor is paired with very capable B58 engine, which we have already seen a lot of on this channel, so we already know the tuning potential from this X5. Our linked, braked 4wd dyno suited perfectly here for BMW’s All-wheel drive xDrive system.
