Tuning solutions for your Transit, with Bluetooth controllability
This Ford Transit Connect 1.6 TDCi dropped in for an install of our Pro + Boost box with Bluetooth Control. This is particularly useful as the driver can easily switch between settings without the need to remove or configure the box, giving that added convenience.

Here we install a custom Bluespark chip tuning box, on this Audi S8 (D4) 4.0 TFSI V8 Quattro.
This module is a customised version of our 3 Channel Pro Petrol box, which has been modified and is bespoke to this engine, accommodating for the additional boost sensor, meaning that we connect to both boost sensors, the map sensor and the cam sensor.
As shown in the installation guide, it’s important to note that either of our boost harness’ can be fitted to either boost sensor. Each of these will be labelled as ‘boost’, so either one can be attached to either boost sensor.

Autumnal gains for this T6
We recently had this VW T6 2.0 TDI drop by Bluespark HQ for an installation of our Pro + Boost box. Back out on the road in less than 20 minutes, where the driver could feel those instant gains.

Tuning solutions for your ECU locked BMW
We recently had this awesome 2021 G22 BMW 420i in for an installation of our 3 channel pro petrol module. These vehicles currently have locked ECU’s with no way to read or write the ECU data. This means that while traditional remapping is impossible, our tuning box can give owners the opportunity to make fantastic gains without requiring a traditional ECU flash. This has the added benefit of being traceless once removed for warranty purposes.
POWER 184 >>> 254hp
TORQUE 300Nm >>> 436NmThis is a great example of how this G22 with a locked ECU, can still make excellent power and torque gains. It now delivers a much punchier 254hp with 436Nm of torque, bringing those gains in sooner right down from those lower revs, whilst really opening up that midsection, giving improvements right across the full rev range.

In this latest tune and dyno test, we take this 2016 Audi S8 4.0 TFSI V8 Quattro and custom tune it, adjusting the software and fine tuning the results from the rolling road dyno testing. Along with this, we also update the gearbox mapping, to really maximise every part of the rev range. The result… Some pretty impressive performance gains!!
Firstly, we take the S8 with completely stock mapping. We get it strapped up on to the rollers, and take it for the first set of tests to establish what the factory mapping is producing. You can see the stock dyno graph below. You can see that power and torque are both running higher than manufacturer quote, showing 552hp from a 520hp quote, and 794Nm from a 650Nm quote. These are dialled in, so we know exactly what base we’re working from.
Once we are happy that we have everything logged and the stock figures entered, it’s time to connect to the ECU. We use our Autotuner system to connect directly on to the ECU. The process of this custom tune is very

For our latest dyno test we have this 2022 Ford Transit Custom 320 2.0 185hp in for tuning and testing. After quick installation of our Pro + Boost chip tuning box, it was up on the rollers to see what the engine could achieve.
These vehicles, including this 2022 Transit Custom uses the SID212 ECU, which all Ford Transits have used since late 2019 onwards. This ECU can’t currently be remapped due to security protection within the ECU’s software. This means that while traditional remapping is impossible, our tuning box can give owners the opportunity to make fantastic gains without requiring a traditional ECU flash. This has the added benefit of being traceless once removed for warranty purposes.
Dyno testing before and after shows healthy gains across the rev range, with a significant increase in power and torque, really transforming how the Transit feels to drive.

If you own a modern BMW and have been interested in tuning it, you will no doubt have come across lots of information regarding tuning and unlocking the ECU’s on these cars.
There is lots of information, misinformation and confusion around ECU unlocking on these cars, even amongst tuners, so we have made this simple guide to help simplify the key facts.
The first thing to establish is the manufacture date of your ECU. This is not the same as the build date of your car, and certainly not the same as the registration date of your car.
In order to determine this, if your car's build date (stamped in several places around the car) is prior to June 2020, you know for sure that you couldn't have a pre June 2020 ECU.
Similarly if your registration date is prior to (in our experience) around September 2020 (in the UK at least), then its very unlikely you have a post-June 2020 ECU. Without wanting to state the obvious, this is because between the car being manufactured and it being registered,

In our latest dyno test we have this Abarth 500 1.4 135hp in for tuning and testing. After quick installation of our Pro Petrol chip tuning box with Bluetooth Control, it was up on the rollers to see what the engine could achieve.
As you’ll already know, Abarth’s are one of the most extensively tuned vehicles here at Bluespark, so it’s always great to get another on the dyno and make some awesome power and torque gains. This customer opted for our Bluetooth Control module, giving them easy access to change through the map settings quickly and easily. With just a few taps within our app, they’ll have the flexibility to accommodate for their driving style, focused entirely around them and every driving situation.
