Tuning solutions for your VW Polo
We recently had this 2018 VW Polo 1.0 TSI in for tuning and dyno testing. Now that small 1.0L engine produces just 95hp at stock, but having worked with plenty of these, we know that they respond really well to our tuning module. So after a quick installation of our 3 Channel Pro Petrol chip tuning box, it was up on the rollers to see what the engine could achieve.
Dyno Test Results:
POWER 95HP >>> 132HP
TORQUE 177Nm >>> 210Nm
Now delivering 132hp with 210Nm of torque, we have not only lifted those peak figures, but we really delve into where those gains are applied. Now pulling much harder right through the revs, we’ve significantly reduced turbo lag whilst providing much improved consistency across the entire rev range, really transforming how it now feels out on the road and making it hard to believe this is still just a 1.0 TSI.
