Tuning solutions for your Vauxhall
We recently had this 2016 Vauxhall Adam S in for custom ECU tuning. Sitting alongside the likes of the Abarth 595, it’s Powered by a 1.4l turbo petrol engine producing 150hp at stock, so it’s definitely got its feet into the world of hot hatches. The customer now wanting a bit more from the engine, let’s see how things went after our ECU remapping.
Dyno Test Results:
POWER 148HP >>> 180HP
TORQUE 219Nm >>> 263Nm
Now delivering 180hp with an additional 44Nm of torque, we have not only lifted those peak figures, but we really delve into where those gains are applied. Now pulling much harder right through the revs, we’ve significantly reduced turbo lag whilst providing much improved consistency across the entire rev range, really transforming how it now feels out on the road.
