In our latest dyno test we have this 2019 Mercedes-Benz AMG A35 in for tuning and testing. After an installation of our Pro Petrol SENT chip tuning box, it was up on the rollers to see what the engine could achieve.
Dyno testing before and after shows healthy gains across the rev range, with a significant increase in power and torque, really transforming how it feels to drive.
Peak power was increased, as we were able to lift it from 299hp at stock, up to 342hp with the box. If you take a look at the dyno graph below you can see how we change that curve (dotted red and blue lines). We lift every part of the rev range, showing real consistency right up to that top end, where we add that +43hp at its peak.
Torque also saw some good improvements. At stock the engine produced 402Nm and now 449Nm with the box. If you take another look at the graph (solid lines), you can really see where we have applied those gains. Looking across that whole section of the mid-range, you can really see exactly where its lifted, adding the +47Nm extra at its peak, delivering that increase exactly where it’s needed.
