We design our maps to make power come in sooner, make great torque gains and hold them for as long as possible. Whilst we do make great peak power increases, for most vehicles this is not the primary focus of our tuning. We aim to get the best power possible across the whole rev range to make your vehicle perform best in real world driving conditions.
Our units considerably reduce turbo lag and will make your vehicle easier and more fun to drive.
Your vehicle should make very similar power and torque gains to those quoted, though small variances from vehicle to vehicle, and from dyno to dyno are to be expected.
"Before" figures quoted are based upon manufacturer's stated power output.

Info on Further Modifications:
On the N55 engine we reccomend Maps A - D on the tuning box will work well on the standard engine. To go further than this we reccomend several modifications:
Aftermarket Intercooler: The standard intercooler on this engine works OK at stock power levels, but struggles as power is increased. In order to run Map E on the box an aftermarket intercooler is required. (Click here for IAT Graph on Stock Intercooler)
Sports Cat or Decat (off road use only): The standard catalyst becomes restrictive at higher power levels. Either a good sports cat or decat tends to yield around a 10hp increase on the N55 engine.
Aftermarket Charge Pipe: This has zero performance benefit, but fixes a major design issue with the stock engine. The standard plastic charge pipe becomes brittle over time and can fail in service, even when the engine is stock. Replacing this with an aluminium item prevents failure before it happens.
Induction Kit / Panel Filter: We don't recommend changing the Induction system on this engine unless you have good reason to do so. We have tested various induction systems from a variety of manufacturers and have yet to see a system with any appreciable performance benefit. The standard airbox and standard paper element work very well, even at higher power levels. We would suggest spending any funds that you planned to spend on induction on one of the 3 above items instead.
For Diesel vehicles we expect to see improvements in fuel economy of
around 10%. This means if you currently get 50 MPG you might expect to see
somewhere around 55 MPG. This is very dependent upon your driving style.
If you use the extra power and drive faster naturally the economy benefits
will be lessened.
